TRANSPARENCY IS OUR TRADITION
Everything you need to know about purity, process and why Mittika is different
Is it safe for people with peanut allergies?
No. Groundnut oil is made from peanuts. If you have peanut allergy, avoid completely. This is clearly mentioned on our label.
Why is it cloudy and not crystal clear?
Because it's unrefined and cold-pressed. Refined oils are clear because nutrients have been stripped. Cloudy = real.
Can diabetics use groundnut oil?
Yes, in moderation. It has low glycemic impact and may help regulate blood sugar. But always consult your doctor.
Why does it cost more than refined groundnut oil?
Cold-pressing yields less oil per batch, takes longer, and preserves nutrients. Refined oil is cheaper because it's heat-extracted and processed.
What's the smoke point?
225°C — perfect for deep frying. Naturally stable at high heat without breaking down or forming harmful compounds.
