TRANSPARENCY IS OUR TRADITION
Everything you need to know about purity, process and why Mittika is different
What's the difference between black and white sesame oil?
Black sesame has 2x more antioxidants, calcium, and iron than white sesame. It's darker, richer, and more potent for therapeutic use.
Can I use it for cooking or only for massage?
Both! Use it for South Indian cooking, Asian dishes, or as a finishing oil. Also excellent for Ayurvedic massage and hair treatment.
Why are there granules at the bottom?
That's sesamol — a powerful antioxidant. It's the good stuff. Shake well before use. Don't strain it out.
Is it safe for daily consumption?
Yes, in moderation (1-2 tablespoons per day). Rich in healthy fats but calorie-dense. Use as part of balanced diet.
How should I store it?
Cool, dark place. Tightly sealed. Away from sunlight. Natural darkening over time is normal. Shelf life: 12 months.
